New “Turning Tooling 8010” Catalog Available from Kennametal

(LATROBE, PA) – Available in print or in PDF format from the download catalogs section of the Kennametal website, the new 800-plus-page Turning Tooling catalog from Kennametal Inc. contains complete information on new product offerings as well as classic Kennametal tooling selections designed to increase accuracy and productivity in turning, grooving, cutoff, and a host of other turning-center-based applications.

Additions to this catalog include:

• Kennametal’s brand-new PCBN program with solutions for turning hardened steels and powdered metals
• New cermet grades, including KT1120 for Steel, with micro-grain structure for higher toughness and longer tool life.
• New carbide grades, including KC9210 for Stainless Steel, featuring improved wear-resistance for extended tool life at lower speeds, and reduced depth-of-cut notching to prevent burr formation.
• Complete information on Kennametal’s new tunable boring bars, KM quick-change system (now recognized as an ISO standard), and new VDI tool holders.
