Lawrence J. Lanza

Mr. Lanza is Vice President and Treasurer for Kennametal Inc. In this role, he is responsible for Kennametal’s worldwide treasury activities, including corporate finance, foreign exchange exposure management, cash management, banking relations, corporate credit / receivables management, and vendor support services. He also advises on Kennametal’s pension plan investments as a member of Kennametal Inc.’s ERISA Committee and as the chairman of the Kennametal Ltd. (UK) pension trustee committee.

He was elected a corporate vice president in October 2006, following his election as Corporate Treasurer in July 2003. He served as Assistant Treasurer and Director of Treasury Services from April 1999 to June 2003 after joining the company in August 1998. Mr. Lanza also serves as chairman of the Treasury Council at the Manufacturers Alliance (MAPI).

Prior to joining Kennametal, Mr. Lanza was Director, Global Capital Markets at CBS Corporation (formerly known as Westinghouse Electric Corporation). He had over 25 years of experience in the CBS Treasury Department, where some of his key appointments included Director, Project Finance and Foreign Exchange; Director, International Finance; Treasurer, Asia-Pacific Region; and a four year assignment in Madrid as Treasurer for the Westinghouse operations in Spain. Mr. Lanza has traveled extensively abroad in support of the Kennametal and Westinghouse business units and foreign subsidiaries. He and his wife reside in Murrysville, Pa.
